A SELF-CONTAINED VILLAGE.

Designed as a living ecosystem, the masterplan of The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Riviera Maya draws from the village traditions of the Yucatan — a connected series of spaces for gathering, nourishment, movement, and restoration.

The Vision

The property unfolds across 180 acres of biodiverse land, connecting lush jungle, pristine mangroves, and a private white-sand beach. Development occupies less than 15% of the land. The remainder belongs to nature — preserved, protected, and celebrated.

The masterplan is designed for walking, hiking, and bicycling. Paths made from moonlight-reflecting white sand connect each area of the property, just as native materials connected the Mayan communities that once inhabited this land.
